Stories from July (Seven Months Home)

PART ONE:  FLORIDA

After spending three weeks in Ohio, with my family, life did everything but slow down, for Vika.  I am incredibly blessed with a daughter who "goes with the flow" and doesn't mind sleeping in random beds...afterall, I'm her mama, and I am anything but a "homebody".  In fact, we no sooner got back from Ohio, and we were back in the car to spend the Fourth of July with Justin and his family.  Then the real traveling began.

We spent a week at Panama City Beach, FL with some very dear friends of mine, Kevin and Angie and their children.

This was Vika's first trip to the ocean and she quickly found out that the water tasted icky!  But the ocean was beautiful and the company was the best!

She enjoyed playing in the sand and quickly decided swimming in the pool was better than the salt water in the ocean.

chillin'

and some noodle fun!
the ball was totally bigger than her...
and then there was the turtle, which she loved
Since it was vacation, that meant swimming at night when she should've been in bed.

Vika also got to enjoy some fun down on Pier Park including a train ride conducted by a RUSSIAN :)

Did I mention, Vika is fearless?!?!

Well, there you have my brief summary of our time at PCB Beach with Mana and Papa!  Hopefully, I will complete Part 2 (time in OHIO) tomorrow.  *cross fingers*
