Ten weeks at home...how time flies!! It seems like she's always been here with me...maybe because the Lord has been preparing me for years.
So, Friday evening was complete with a new experience thanks to Kristi and lil' Addi. They blessed us with an evening of fun...complete with gluten free pizza (that we all enjoyed) followed by a trip to the BIG SHOWER!!
The BIG SHOWER, is officially one of Vika's new favorite places! What is the BIG Shower, you may be asking yourself?!?!?!? Well, for a precious lil' four year old, still learning English, the BIG Shower is none other than the POOL! Yes, a swimming pool!
You see, in Russia we didn't have a bathtub in our hotel or apartment, so it was necessary for Vika to take showers. And now that we're home, she continues to call the bathtub a shower, because mama takes a shower, and well...she uses the same tub for her baths...and the connection just hasn't been made that there is a difference between a shower and a bath.
Anyhow, Vika went to the YMCA with her friend Addi, for the first time...and just loved the BIG Shower!! :) Once she got in, there was no fear, and within the hour she was reaching for my hands and jumping off the side! She's not a fan of going under the water, but other than that, she had a great time with Addi...her Dora ball...princessa "princess" ball...and jumping off the side. :)
Vika is getting all set to go to Florida with Mana, Papa, Allison, Sasha, and Justin!!! I hope you all are ready for some fun in the sun, on the beach and at the pool, because she is ready to go!!
